Making Peanut Butter

For Kelly's math lesson we were shelling and counting peanuts. When we were finished we made peanut butter. Here's Kelly shelling nuts. Yes, she is in her pajamas. That's one of the fun things about homeschool-you can stay in your pjs!

A Birthday Bead Party

Kelly wanted to celebrate her birthday by having a bead party. She invited our good friends, The Seling's to join in the fun. We celebrated a bit early since this was the best day out of the busy month. Closer to Kelly's actual birthday we will have a cake and ice cream party with more of our friends.

A Night of Beauty

Kelly went to a birthday party for a night of glittered hairdos, nail painting and makeup. Here she is getting her hair done. She loved getting dolled up.

USMC Birthday Ball

We celebrated the 231st Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Barona Casino and Resort.

Tom played The Marine's Hymn on the bagpipes during the ceremony.

A Special Day

Tom took Mandi and Kelly to see the Moscow Ballet's presentation of "The Nutcracker". He took us to get our nails done and brought us corsages before heading down to San Diego for the show. After the show he took us to a nice seafood restaurant. We had a wonderful time.

Happy Halloween

We took Kelly trick-or-treating at the shopping center by our house. Kelly was a fairy princess.
